While waiting for the Statue of Jesus to pass by, we were entertained by the Vittoriosa Brass Band. I was so lucky to get really close to the band as they marched by, and am rather pleased with this picture:
I just love the way I have managed to capture a reflection of the music he is playing in his sun glasses.
Still in Malta – after spending an afternoon on a lovely sandy beach , which is quite rare in Malta. The coast line is mainly made up of rocks. A decision had to be made, on how we were going to return back to our holiday home. Should we get the bus back, hire a taxi? No, let’s get a speed boat back. Our driver wanted 6euros for a 20 minute trip back to our resort, and what an exciting way to travel. Here is a picture of our wonderful “captain”:
