Happy Halloween

Smilling Pumpkin

A Lone Figure

This picture was taken on a visit to St Pancras Station. The station recently under went a transformation with the arrival of the new High Speed Eurostar service. It has now become more than a station, and a place not only for commuters to stop for a drink on their way home, but a place just to visit. There are shops places to eat and drink as well as marvel at the grand Victorian gothic architecture,

Victorian Passage

The picture above, was my favourite of the day, but does not do the station’s architectural beauty. However, you do get a hint with the arched walkway my subject is walking though. I have no idea who this chap is, and just imagine that he is rushing one from work to see his loved ones. I was quite patient waiting to capture this picture, as I didn’t want anyone else in the photograph, as I didn’t want any distractions from the subject, I think my patients paid off.

A Photographer and His Subject

Walking around St James’s Park in London, you see many tourists taking time out from their days out in town. Today, I spotted a couple taking pictures of one another. I thought capturing them separately, would make an interesting diptych:
